Ingredients:

  • cod, 900 g (fillet)
  • lemon
  • bay leaf
  • peppercorn, 1/2 teaspoon
  • potatoes, 1.5 g white potatoes
  • garlic, 5 cloves
  • white wine, 120 ml
  • parsley, 1 tablespoon chopped
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:
1.    In a pot of water put cod fillets, add salt, pour in lemon juice, add bay leaf, peppercorn, olive oil and cook everything together for about 10 minutes.
2.    Meanwhile peel the potatoes, cut them into slices 1 cm thick, wash under cold running water and put them in a bowl of cold water so that they do not turn dark.
3.    Then take out the fish fillets and put them aside, and add sliced potatoes into the water from cooking, season with salt and cook for 10 minutes.
4.    Heat olive oil in a separate pot, add crushed garlic and as soon as you can smell it, arrange a row of boiled potatoes on it, then a row of hake, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper, and keep arranging them the same way.
5.    Sprinkle the last row with olive oil, pour in white wine, water from cooking and cook everything together on low heat for another 10 minutes.
